My journey with public art began in 2020 during the protests against the murder of George Floyd. This was also during the Covid19 pandemic. I decided to get into the streets. With my community, we created art as a means of protest and documentation of history. Since then, I have worked throughout the south, installing murals and sculptures in collaboration with artists and organizations. Working in and with communities is a collaborative conversation between the space and the people that bring life to its environment.
