These mixed media paintings and collages were created from 2016-2020. During this time I was an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). My concentration was sculpture and alongside those courses I took many disciplines of fine art practice as a part of the curriculum.
Daily I rode my bike to and from class and work. As I traveled I collected snapshots in my memories of people, houses, parties, and Greensboros natural landscape that is continuously evolving with construction and industrial innovation. From those memories and sketches, when I had a moment to pause, I recreated forms, colors, and texture in playful iterations.
